About the talk:
This one hour online talk is part of Stone Tree Press online series in Stone Lithography.
This first talk is an introduction to stone lithography with Nora Hammenberg - the founder and owner of Stone Tree Press.
Stone lithography is a printmaking technique invented by Alois Senefelder in 1796. It is a diverse printmaking technique where you can achieve different expressions and styles.
During this hour Nora will introduce you to lithography by briefly talking about its history, how it works and Nora will also show you different lithography prints to give ideas on how it could be used as an art.
The session is great for those of you who are interested in lithography as an art form or just like to learn about a new printmaking technique.
This could be a great start for artists who are interested in attending a physical course when the print workshop opens again.
This is the first talk in a series of three, where Nora Hammenberg talks about lithography and show you the different steps of the technique.
